Grant Opportunity: Global Green Food Waste to Biogas

Global Green has been given the opportunity to expand our Eco-Ambassador Program and Food Waste to Biogas Technical Assistance projects for a second year in a row thanks to a SoCal Gas Environmental Champions grant.
We are in the process of identifying two to four partner cities in SoCal Gas territory to be selected to receive free technical assistance in either/both:
- Starting an Eco-Ambassador Program for multi-family food waste diversion; and/or
- Modeling scenarios for expanding food waste to biogas infrastructure.
The key focus of this initiative is to help cities plan and adopt solutions to meet the organics diversion mandates set by California bills AB-1826 and SB-1383.
