Human Composting is in the works and Adamah Inc. is making it happen. Adamah Inc. is looking for an Operations Director directly responsible for the recomposition and delivery teams. Adamah comes from the ancient Hebrew word for earth and refers to humankind’s intimate, cyclical relationship to the ground beneath us. Cremation emits almost 700 million pounds of CO2 annually in the U.S. alone.
While the recomposition process emits some CO2, much of the carbon stays locked in the compost. Based in Auburn Washington, this unique opportunity to become a pioneer in an emergent practice is worth a look.
