Members Kate Sullivan and Noel Lyons of McGill Compost accompanied staff and our lobbyist to increase awareness of the compost industry’s needs for infrastructure and PFAS research funding. Executive Director Frank Franciosi and Advocacy Director Linda Norris-Waldt as well as lobbyist Doug Benedetto of Holland and Holland were part of the meetings. The group met with staff of Congressional Members on the Agriculture Committees as well as Farm Bureau staff members. They also met with congressional member Richard Hudson who serves where Kate (pictured below) and McGill Environmental are constituents.
