Josh Enderle YP of the Month

We are thrilled to highlight Josh Enderle as March’s YP of the Month. Josh is currently a Waste Reduction Consultant at CET.

Josh’s compost journey started in college when he became involved in the Eco-Reps program in his first year at Ithaca College. Josh volunteered to sort waste at on-campus events and for downtown events through the Compost, Recycle, Trash program of the Recycling and Materials Management of Tompkins County until he graduated. It wasn’t until Josh started as the Recycling and Composting Educator at Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Broome County, where he started and managed his first compost pile.

Since then, Josh has gone through the Master Composter Program at CCE Tompkins County, took the 131 School of Composting, and has been lucky to tag along to two full-day compost site workshops through his current position at CET. In Josh’s free time, he and a couple of other volunteers collect food scraps from a few neighborhood residents to compost at their community garden.

Josh has been a part of the YP Group for a couple of years, serving on the YP Outreach Committee. As part of the subcommittee, Josh assists in planning and hosting the virtual Happy Hours. Be sure to join our next Happy Hour in May to meet Josh and other YPs!

Congratulations to Josh for his outstanding contributions to the composting industry and his dedication to the YP Group as part of the Outreach Committee!
