Institutional and Campus Composters and Compost Manufacturers: We’re Looking for YOU!

We are looking for expertise and support from compost manufacturers and suppliers who work with the U.S. college and university community, as well as institutional generators of compostable materials.

Equipment Guide

This week, we are launching our online Equipment Guide for Small Scale and Institutional Composting, which is a publication focused on three types of equipment for small facilities:

The guide was released in print form at the Green Sports Summit, attended by more than 700 people, where numerous copies were handed out, dissected and discussed by operators of campus and professional stadiums, arenas and tracks. More vendors are coming forward to be included in the Guide, so we will work on a second edition of the guide this winter. Click here to check it out!

Campus Composting Manual

We have interviewed many of you to hear your stories, best practices and advice for this manual, requested by campuses across the country to provide them with information on how to either start up their own composting program, work with a compost manufacturer near them or advocate for compost capacity nearby.

Compost Manufacturers and Haulers

Do you love working with your nearby campus clients? You can support this manual and have your name included as a college composting supporter - click here to get involved!

Watch for the College Compost Manual, being done in partnership with the Post-Landfill Action Network, an association of student zero-waste groups, this fall!
