About the Presenters: 
Clinton Sander, Marketing Manager, A1 Organics - USCC MDC Co-Chair
Clinton joined A1 Organics in July 2018. He has spent the last eight years working in the natural foods industry creating marketing initiatives, brand campaigns, and innovative merchandising techniques. He is passionate about sustainability, family, and giving back to your community. Clinton has seen first-hand the importance and value of diverting organic material away from landfills within a commercial retail food environment.
 
Suzanne Longacre Marketing Champion, Laurel Valley Soils - USCC MDC Co-Chair
Suzanne Longacre is Marketing Manager for Laurel Valley Soils and holds a Food Marketing degree from the University of Delaware. She has a passion for taking the deep dive to develop branding and marketing strategies, and then jumping over to the creative side to bring them to life. Suzanne is a repeat guest on You Bet Your Garden with Mike McGrath and is a judge for University of Delaware's "Hen Hatch." Laurel Valley Soils provides post-harvest mushroom compost and soil blends for storm water management, green roofs, gardens, urban farms and topdressing to mid-Atlantic wholesale customers.

Hilary Nichols is the Market Development Coordinator for the US Composting Council. She oversees the Seal of Testing Assurance (STA) Certified Compost Program and the development of compost use marketing strategy and materials. She also organizes research to stay on the cutting edge of compost test methods and lab proficiency testing. Hilary has been in the horticulture industry for 20 years. She is a horticulture graduate of North Carolina State University. She has written for Fine Gardening Magazine, been a frequent guest speaker on UNC-TV's Almanac Gardener, and is a leader in both the national and Georgia Perennial Plant Association.
