Thank you for your loyalty and collaboration with your fellow members in the US Composting Council! The US Composting Council is glad to have you as a member. June 30, 2022 is USCC's end date for current memberships. Please remit payment by June 30 to avoid losing access to any member benefits.
The US Composting Council is committed to moving the industry forward in all the areas described below.
ADVOCACY: This past year has seen unprecedented expansion of our Advocacy efforts. With the Legislative and Environmental Affairs Committee (LEAC) and Linda Norris-Waldt engaged with federal and state efforts, we have seen progress on the Recycling and Composting Accountability Act designed to increase data collection reporting for our industry. The USCC now has a group of highly engaged Advocate members who compete for prizes and beat the compost drum in their regions. In the coming months the USCC will implement a new grassroots advocacy software, Capitol Canary, to further engage with compost advocates nationwide.
COMPOST UNIVERSITY: In partnership with the Compost Research and Education Foundation, the USCC brings you COMPOST UNIVERSITY (CompostU). This online learning management system is designed to give you access to educational resources such as webinars, conference lectures, and other tools to create a unique platform for on-demand learning, where and when you need it. CompostU is sponsored by Vermeer.
MEMBER BENEFITS: The USCC's Membership Committee worked to expand and restructure member benefits into the following seven categories: Marketing, Networking, Resources, Organization Involvement, Discounts, Corporate Leadership, and Advocacy. Memberships at the Bronze Soilbuilder level and higher will receive more user logins (seats). We are excited to now offer additional discounts to attend the USCC's annual conference for all Gold Soilbuilder members.
Please renew today to take advantage of your membership benefits and discounts, including Professional Certification discounts, equipment discounts, $100 off conference attendance and COTC training, and member rate discounts for the Seal of Testing Assurance program.
(STA) PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS: Your membership dues and STA Program fees support two independent programs under the USCC umbrella and are billed separately. To qualify for discounted STA Program participation fees for the upcoming STA 2022-2023 renewal cycle, please renew your USCC membership at your earliest convenience. STA Program renewals are slightly delayed due to system upgrades related to user permissions. For questions regarding STA Program participation, please email sta@compostingcouncil.org
