The USCC provides you the tools to invest in professional development through three major areas: Certifications, Compost University, and the soon to be launched USCC Career Center. Opportunities for professional development include:
- Level-up your credentials and apply to be a Certified Compost Operations Manager (CCOM™ or Certified Composting Professional (CCP™). Certification gives you recognition for your achievement, advances your career, demonstrates your knowledge and increases professionalism in the industry.
- A partnership between the US Composting Council (USCC) and the Compost Research and Education Foundation (CREF), Compost University is an online platform providing learners with engaging industry subject matter from experts who have experience in critical knowledge areas. We encourage anyone working in the composting industry to browse our Compost U Course Catalog. Coursework choices range from introductory to advanced and subject categories include topics such as organics diversion, collection and transportation; competing and alternative technologies; business and organizational management; site and worker health and safety; and composting purpose, and vision.
