Applications Now Open! Unlock Opportunities with USCC Young Professional Membership Scholarships

Embrace growth and connection through the USCC's Young Professionals Scholarship Program, open now through Sept. 29.
 
Each year, we grant five driven individuals a one-year USCC membership (valued at $170). In return, we ask that they devote at least 12 hours to a committee of choice during the scholarship year.

These committees are pivotal in expanding the young professional network in the composting industry:

• Mentoring Committee: Pair young professionals with industry mentors through an annual mentoring program.
• Webinar Committee: Fuel curiosity with quarterly webinars on topics of interest to young professionals.
• Outreach Committee: Drive community growth with monthly virtual happy hours and regular social media and newsletter communications.
• Emerging Composter Committee: Plan the Emerging Composter poster competition at Compost2024. Note: Conference attendance is strongly encouraged, but not required.
• Community Service Committee: Organize a volunteer event for young professionals at Compost2024. Note: Conference attendance is strongly encouraged, but not required.
