USCC's Corporate Leadership Members Continue High-Level Support

It can be challenging to executive large-dollar projects on membership dues alone.

Thanks to the support of our high-level members who make up the Corporate Compost Leadership Council, we have been able to fund these without having to push membership dues above increases to cost of living. These CCLC members represent generators such as food retail, venues, and distribution companies; companies seeking compostable packaging of their food products; and companies in the packaging realm who want to hear firsthand what composters are experiencing in the piles.

1. Provides USCC with continuous feedback on their current market and sustainability challenges related to composting.
2. Connects USCC to others in their industries who can help us spread the word about what composters can and wish to accept.
3. Assists USCC, when feasible, with relaying our advocacy and policy positions to their customers and through their policymaker connections.
4. Supports USCC with memberships and direct financial support of $5,000 to $12,000 to underwrite such projects as the following:
   
   • Industry Research.
   • Industry Economic Studies (Composting State of Practice).
   • Compost Awareness Campaign (coming).
   • Financial Research and Whitepaper.
