The Virginia Asphalt Association held its 66th Annual Meeting at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia on April 26-28, 2017. This meeting was significant in that it marked the retirement of Richard Schreck as Executive Vice President. Richard had served in the role since September 1981. He was the longest-serving state asphalt association executive. More than 200 people joined Richard for his retirement banquet and after party on Thursday April 27.
The Meeting was host to both serious technical sessions and fun outings and entertainment. For a full recap of all that happened, look for the Spring/Summer edition of Virginia Asphalt magazine coming to you soon.
