Robert Lewis Goode, beloved son, devoted husband and father and cherished friend passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018, after a lengthy battle with dementia. Robert was born in Farmville, Va., in 1956, the son of the late Lewis Bouldin Goode Jr. and Martha Wallace Goode. Robert had a long and very successful career serving the road paving industry beginning in 1982 with Boxley Quarries in Bowers Hill, Va. and concluding with J.T. Russell and Sons in Albermarle, N.C. Throughout his career Robert built a strong and loyal customer base and was both beloved and admired by the many people with whom he worked in the road building industry. Obituary.
