VAA Annual Meeting - Are Your Registered?

VAA's Annual Meeting is right around the corner. Have you registered? Have you reserved your hotel room? If not, there is still time to join your industry colleagues at Salamander Resort in Middleburg. This will be VAA’s first visit to Virginia’s newest resort. Nestled just west of Dulles Airport in Loudoun County, the Salamander offers the amenities of a large resort with the feel of a small community. Delegates and their guests will be treated to two evening receptions and a banquet with desert on the lawn.Arrive early and experience zip lining through the trees that closes with a sip or two of one of your favorite beverages. On Thursday, attendees will have a choice of golf, sporting clays or a cooking class. And saving one of the best outings for last, stay an extra night and join the Loudoun County Wine Tour on Friday afternoon. Thursday and Friday mornings will be full of information sessions. Thursday will start with a keynote address by Mr. Mike Acott – NAPA President. Mike has announced his retirement in early 2019, so he will reflect on his career at NAPA and in the asphalt industry. Following Mike, Deputy Secretary of Transportation Quintin Elliott and VDOT Chief Engineer Garrett Moore will cover the priorities of Governor Northam's administration and the funding outlook for 2018 and 2019. Friday morning will have two invited presentations, a VAA Annual Member Meeting and sitting of the VAA Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

Rooms are running out and recreational activities are filling up. Visit the VAA website or call the VAA office (804.288.3169) to register.
