HHHunt Corporation, a diversified regional leader in real estate development, building and management for nearly 60 years, announces that is has partnered with EnviroSpark to add electric vehicle charging stations at all 27 of its multifamily communities located throughout the Southeast United States. The Level 2 charging stations are currently being installed and will be rolled out to all communities by Fall of 2024.

“We are very excited to partner with EnviroSpark on this effort to enhance our EV charging station capabilities across our footprint,” said Lance Goss, Senior Vice President of HHHunt Apartment Living.  “HHHunt Apartment Living was one of the first multifamily developers and owners to add EV charging stations to our communities but as the technology evolved, so has the demand. These new stations will provide our residents with a fast and reliable option to charge their cars.”

HHHunt Apartment Living owns and manages multifamily communities in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. The installation of EnviroSpark’s EV charging stations began in February 2024 and once completed, each community will have between 4-10 stations. These Level 2, 240-volt stations can provide a full charge for a car within 3-5 hours. In addition to the installation, EnviroSpark will be responsible for ongoing maintenance of the stations to ensure a seamless experience for residents.

Goss continued, “We value being a forward-thinking company and our commitment to sustainability is at the heart of that. Our residents want additional options as electric vehicles have become more prominent and we are delivering on that. These EV stations will serve residents for many years in the future and we are excited to be at the forefront of this space.”

In addition to its existing apartment home communities, EnviroSpark will also be installing stations at three HHHunt Apartment Living communities currently under construction in the Raleigh-Durham and Charlotte, North Carolina markets.
