Thank You for a Successful VAMA Lobby Day 2025!

The staff of the Virginia Apartment Management Association would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in VAMA Lobby Day 2025 on Thursday, January 23. This year’s event was a tremendous success, thanks to the dedication, engagement and passion of our members and industry partners who took the time to advocate for responsible rental housing policies.

 

Despite inclement weather across the Southeast, VAMA members showed up in record-breaking numbers, demonstrating unwavering commitment to housing stability, affordability, and growth. A total of 109 VAMA members—including 12 Virginia Tech Property Management students—engaged in 77 impactful legislative meetings, ensuring rental housing providers’ voices were heard loud and clear. 

 

We were honored to receive a formal introduction in the House of Delegates by Delegate David Bulova, where VAMA members and Virginia Tech students were recognized for their dedication to excellence in rental housing.

With a record number of visitors from other organizations at the Capitol that day, capturing our traditional group photo proved challenging. However, thanks to our members and event photographer, Kimie James, the day was well-documented!

 

A huge thank you to our incredible Lobby Day Team Leads for coordinating meetings and guiding teams through the General Assembly Building. Your leadership was instrumental in making this event a success!
