VAMA Conference Sneak Peek - Speaker Rommel Anacan

I recently met and spoke with a gentleman for a few minutes. When he learned that I teach about sales, communication and building better business relationships, he told me about the challenges that he has experienced, convincing prospects to buy his services.

As we spoke, I could see why people had a hard time connecting with him. I honestly kept waiting for him to try and "sell" me something, so I found myself backing away and trying to end the conversation. His method of relating to people pushes them away-which is not the trait you want when you’re trying to sell something, right?

What Is Your Effect?

Have you ever thought, "What is my effect on people?" Let me put it this way, if someone had to ride in a car with you for eight hours, what would your effect on them be? Would they want the road trip to continue, or would they look for opportunities to steer the car into a ditch, slam it into a guard rail, or just do ANYTHING to end the trip?

Everything you want, need and desire rises and falls with your ability to connect, communicate and engage with the people around you. When people love you, it makes your success much easier. When people just want you to "go away," it makes life a lot harder, doesn't it?

There is a tremendous difference that you can make in your life right now simply by enhancing the quality of the relationships you have with the people around you. If you attend any of my sessions at the 2014 VAMA Conference (especially Relationology) I’ll give you the secrets to winning with people, so that you can succeed!
