Lauren Ellis, Assistant Director of Restorative Practices, and Katie Sensabaugh, Coordinator of Restorative Practices, both from the JMU Office of Student Accountability and Restorative Practices spoke at the Harrisonburg Morning Motivator on February 24th. They talked about best strategies and practices when providing mediation between your residents, whether it is a roommate situation, neighbors, etc.. This is a service offered to students through their office so they had a wealth of knowledge and experience and were able to provide some excellent suggestions to our members. This meeting was hosted at Squire Hill Apartments and sponsored by JMU Off Campus Life/Off Campus Housing.
