More than two dozen homeless veterans in southwest Virginia may soon have a permanent roof over their heads. Freedom Lane is 24 affordable housing units, with 12 units built specifically for the disabled.

Dear Carolyn: I live in an apartment building, and a family with four kids lives in the apartment above us. They are so loud all the time, and it drives me insane!
