Boyle’s general contracting business, Green Valley Builders, is working on two new developments along North Main Street — worth what he said is a combined $20 million — called Uptown and Uptown Village.

Joshua Gemerek, senior vice president of Bay Family Housing, said June 26 that VHDA approved the local application for a $3.8 million competitive grant.

City property records list the buyer as Richmond Terraces LLC, which purchased the 148-unit, 200,000-square-foot building from 800 Semmes LLC – made up of builder and majority owner Mark Purcell and developers Robin Miller and Dan Gecker.

  

BWS Enterprises LLC, run by former RIR owners Billy and Wayne Sawyer, is looking to develop up to 445 residential units and a retail area on land it owns on both sides of Old Otterdale Road. The site is south of Midlothian Turnpike, just west of the Kroger-anchored Ivymont Square Shopping Center.

Developer Guy Blundon plans to start construction this summer on 238 apartments covering 8 acres at 1300 Winterfield Road, adjacent to the much-debated Winterfield Crossing development proposed for 25 acres along Midlothian Turnpike.

  

Chesterfield County-based Uphoff Ventures plans to develop an 18-story apartment-retail complex at West Grace and Belvidere streets.

  

Midlothian-based Riverton Associates, led by developer Casey Sowers, is proposing two buildings totaling 236 apartments on a 5-acre parcel overlooking 288, on a bluff at the northeastern edge of the center.
