The results are in! Wondering how your community stacks up to others throughout Virginia in terms of rent payments received in the time of COVID? VAMA conducted a survey among members to see how the pandemic impacted May's rent, and we received over 100 responses. 

NAA President and CEO, Bob Pinnegar, writes about the ripple effect of unpaid rent. Many outside our industry have misguided ideas about rent income going directly to property owners, without thought for the expenses related to maintining and updating the property. However, canceling rent for all would create negative economic impacts for all in the long run.

Then, Rich will share strategies for growing your net operating income of multifamily assets when no one wants to pay rent, in his session titled "Finding NOI Amid a Pandemic" on June 5th.
