Rideview Apartments, a 96-unit community in Blackburg, recently sold to GFI Ridgeview, LLC for $4.75 million. The company plans to renovate the units.
The Breeden Company announced they have closed on a 15.64 acre multifamily tract in the Chesterfield County area of Richmond, Va. The land parcel, located at the intersection of Route 288 and Genito Road, is expected to begin development Spring 2023 and be completed Spring 2024. Breeden Construction will serve as general contractor on the project. The Breeden Company’s Property Management division will manage the asset once construction is complete.
Developers just broke ground on the next phase of the reitrement community, which will add 118 new independent living apartments. The Vitality building, planned adjacent to the Tower, which anchors the community, will have 42 apartments above a fitness and wellness center. The other community, Village Apartments, will include 76 apartments and a clubhouse.
Capital Square purchased 2.7 acres in Scott's Addition for $10.8 million, coming out to $4 million per acre, the highest per-acre land sale for the area. The company plans to raze the exisiting structures and build three mid-rise apartment communities with a combined total of 350 units.
The Bend Arbordale, located near Sentara Williamsburg, was sold by Bonaventure to The Inland Real Estate Group for $100 million. The two- and three-bedroom community has a pool, fitness center, business center, clubhouse and dog park.
