Richmond will host cycling’s pinnacle event, the UCI Road World Cycling Championships September 19th – 27th!

On August 25th at the CVAA Morning Coffee Meeting, Monica Callahan, the Community Engagement Director, spoke on behalf of Richmond 2015. This is the first time in nearly three decades that the race has been on U.S. soil. It is a tremendous opportunity for our region, state and nation to host this global sporting event. The cycling competition is just one aspect of the event; this will be so much more than just a bike race... it will be a party! Members learned about the impact that this race will have on the industry and city of Richmond.
