DroneUp to Deliver Meds to Eastern Shore

Virginia Beach-based unmanned flight company DroneUp (Tidewater District) will launch a project to deliver medications via drone to patients on the Eastern Shore and Tangier Island as part of a collaboration with Riverside Health System and the Virginia Institute for Spaceflight & Autonomy (VISA) at Old Dominion University, among other partners.

AGCVA Member Courtney Paulk Announced as 2023 RVA Power Women Award

From a pool of 1,000 nominees and 39 finalists, the winners of the 2023 RVA Power Women Awards were unveiled Thursday evening. Courtney Paulk, President of Hirschler, (Richmond District) was presented with the award in the Law category.

Presented by Brown Edwards, this year’s crop of Richmond’s most notable businesswomen were honored at a festive ceremony at The Shed at Main Street Station with more than 350 in attendance.
