W.M. Jordan Company Celebrates its 65th Anniversary 

In 2023, W.M. Jordan Company (Peninsula District) marked its 65th year in business and has spent the entire year celebrating the many successes they’ve achieved over the years. In reflecting about what led to those successes, the company identified four main factors leading to that success: all W.M. Jordan Company team members, family members of those team members, communities the company has served, and the many partners they’ve worked with over the years. We invite you to look back at some photos from their yearlong celebration and to extend a congratulations to any W.M. Jordan team members you know.

Next Generation of Footsteps: Brothers Assume Leadership of HVAC Company in Harrisonburg

In 1954, brothers Jim, Ralph and Dale Blauch began Blauch Brothers, Inc (Valley District) in Harrisonburg.

Today, the company carries on the same mission of providing HVAC, piping, plumbing and service for commercial and industrial. In 2010, a second location in Winchester was added.

North Fork Middle School Students Create Outdoor Classroom with the Help of Triplett Tech

A major student-led project is coming to life at North Fork Middle School in Quicksburg. Carpentry students from Triplett Tech (Valley District) are building an outdoor classroom on the side of the school.

“A couple years ago I received an award that had some money attached to it, and the goal was to use that money for an educational advancement at our school. Immediately the outdoor classroom came to mind, so it can enrich students’ educational opportunities and experiences,” said Dara Booher, an Agriscience Teacher at North Fork.

The goal is to provide an outdoor learning experience for students and to get them out in the fresh air.

Over the summer, Booher asked some North Fork students if they would help with the project, and five students in the FFA became spokespersons for the project. Over the past few months, the students worked to make the project a reality.
