There's a major challenge facing our profession.
The need for highly-qualified, well-trained professionals is already significant; and within a few years, it will be drastic.
VAIA is tackling that challenge head-on with every intention of changing the game for your organization. This two-minute video gives a great overview of what we have been working on for the past year, plus we've listed additional details below.
How We're Changing the Game
- Partnership with the Community College Workforce Alliance to deepen training of individuals entering the insurance industry.
- Offering a one-semester course beginning in January 2018 that will include basic insurance content, in addition to preparation for the licensing exam.
- Initial course offering in Richmond with plans to expand offerings across the Commonwealth.
- Host an introductory event to match newly-trained course participants with those organization that have positions available.
Help Us Spread the Word
Please share this video with as many people as possible, and not just within the insurance community. Make those in your social circles aware as well. We must have 12 students in order to hold the class and we need your help to make this happen.
