IIAV Well Represented on National Committees

The National Big I announced this week for agent appointments to committees for the national association. IIAV members have been placed on three-key committees:
IIAV Chair – Jill Roth will serve another term on the IIAA Agency Administrative Services Board of Directors. AAS is part of the “for-profit” functions for the Big I and evaluates and implements insurance agency related products and services.
IIAV National Director – Mike Funkhouser has been appointed to serve on InsurPAC – the Federal Political Action Committee for the Big I. InsurPAC is a $2+ million PAC that seeks to support federal legislators – or challengers - who support the independent agency system. InsurPAC is one of the largest small business PACs in the country and works hand in hand with the Big I government affairs team.
IIAV’s COO and VFSC’s Executive Vice President – Linda Loving has been appointed again to the Professional Liability Committee, the group that provides oversight to the Agents E&O program that is so very vital to our member agencies. This is a key policy position and clearly reflects on Linda’s experience with E&O issues and ability to evaluate insurance policy language and product comparisons.
