If you are a Westport E&O policyholder, you will be receiving a notification letter, by mail, from Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. In it, they will outline the substantive improvements in policy language. It will also outline Swiss Re’s upcoming corporate name change from Westport Insurance Corporation to North American Specialty Insurance Company, NAS.

A few highlights:

• Two new deductible reduction options
• Consent to settle clause removed
• Insolvency exclusion, relaxing the AM Best rating requirement from B+ to B
• Enhanced definition of Professional Services to include client referrals
• Key Insurance Professional Assistance (New coverage!)
