Welcome
From the Desk of the President & CEO
If you felt a tremor in the universe last month, it was likely when Linda Loving announced her retirement plans to the IIAV and VFSC Boards of Directors. After over 35 years with the association, Linda announced that she would be cleaning out her desk in December of 2022. That gives us almost 12 months to get her to change her mind.
IIAV Member Resources

These funds are available to all TC members, even those who used the Digital Marketing Incentive funds in 2021. $750 maximum reimbursement.

IIAV News
Membership dues in the Big I may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses on corporate tax returns, however they are not deductible as a charitable contribution. Further, to the extent that both IIABA and IIAV engage in lobbying, the portion of membership dues that relate to lobbying are not deductible. For the 2021 calendar year, 14.5 % of the membership dues are not deductible due to lobbying efforts/expenses.
In 2020, ACORD began charging all forms users a licensing fee. As a member benefit, our national association funds ACORD form end-user licenses for the majority of member agencies (those with a group gross property/casualty revenue of under $50 million), allowing them to claim these licenses free of charge. The ACORD licensing renewal and Big I membership verification need to be renewed on an annual basis, after Jan. 1 of each year.
