Nominations for these two prestigious awards are due by NOON on Friday, June 10.
 
The IIAV Agent of the Year “Golden Eagle” Award recognizes the outstanding contributions of an agency member. Nominations may be made by any IIAV member on the basis of an individual’s industry/professional contributions, association involvement, continued growth, agency achievements and community activities.

Teen driver safety is a topic that affects all drivers on the road. With 7.8% of all fatal crashes occurring among drivers ages 15 to 20, motor vehicle deaths are the second-leading cause of death for this age group.
  
The yearly increase is the highest reported since the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) began using its current traffic fatality tracking system in 1975.

A recent story reported that Delta Airlines will begin paying flight attendants half-time for boarding duties, a change from the industry-standard of only paying once the doors close.
  
Most light-duty fleets are not regulated by the Department of Transportation. Thus, there is no specific “fleet safety certification” or demarcation for being “fleet safety certified.”
