The New APTA VA Student SIG Executive Committee

 

The 2021-2022 APTA VA Student SIG Executive Committee has been announced. Learn more about the board and how to get involved this year.

 

The 2021-2022 committee is comprised of the following members: Anne Hruskoci, Chair (MU); Janese Malone, Vice Chair (SU); Rachel Anderson, Secretary (VCU); Catherine Brewington, Treasurer (VCU); Clay Harrington, Director (ODU); Edward Barbeau, PTA Representative (NVCC); Manolya Martin, Nominating Committee Chair-Elect (SU); Matthew Chun, Nominating Committee Chair (EHC); Mitch Popielec, Nominating Committee Member (ODU).

 

The committee is looking forward to working with APTA VA to host some exciting events. Some ideas in store are a Zoom DEI Grand Rounds or Adaptive Athlete Interview series, as well as another t-shirt fundraiser. A t-shirt design contest will be held in the upcoming months, so keep an eye on your inbox if you are artistic and interested in this creative opportunity! COVID precautions and measures will continue to be monitored, and the committee will decide if any future events may be held in-person.
