Happy holidays! I hope everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving and is looking forward to the end of the year. At APTA Virginia, we have plenty to be thankful for. Our Fall Summit annual conference had a fantastic turnout, and it was a pleasure to see everyone again in person. It is with sincere gratitude that we acknowledge our hosts at Emory & Henry College, who were incredibly gracious and accommodating.

Following such a memorable event, we are very much looking forward to next year's Fall Summit in Lynchburg, which will be held at the University of Lynchburg on October 20-21. We are already working on a variety of content offerings including clinical education, leadership, legislative advocacy, and payer/practice relations. You don't want to miss it, so make sure your calendar is marked!

I want to take one more opportunity to thank all our outgoing board members and district leaders, many of whom have stayed on well past the end of their terms to help ensure a smooth transition to the next cohort and the continued functionality of the Chapter. A big welcome to the incoming board and district members. You have big shoes to fill, but we know you are up to the task!

Don’t miss out on our Virginia is for Learners educational series throughout the upcoming year, with live, virtual, and on-demand courses. Live courses are given at multiple locations across the state—visit our website to check out all these events and everything else APTA VA has to offer.

Happy New Year!

Sincerely,

Tony Grillo, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
