Greetings! Mountain district leadership is pleased to announce a couple events coming up for informational and networking opportunities. First we would like to invite you to join us for our 2nd Annual Research and Poster Presentations held in conjunction with Emory & Henry College School of Health Sciences. This year the event will count as Type 1 CEU’s (pending approval). This event is FREE to attend. Yes you can receive 3 Type 1 CEU’s completely FREE!
We also will be holding a district meeting in conjunction with the event. So we hope you will join us on Tuesday June 12th from 5PM to 9PM.
Secondly, we are planning our next district meeting to include a trip to the Barter Theatre. This would be a family friendly event in order to get enough attendees for the group discounted rate. We would like your input regarding which play interests you. Our choice will be between the plays “Sister Act” (you may be familiar with the movie starring Whoopie Goldberg) and “The Lemonade Stand”. The Lemonade Stand is a comedy and according to the Barter’s description, is centered around a middle aged man recently fired who starts a Lemonade stand and the college girl next door wants to join his upstart business as an intern. We hope you will join us for this twist on our normal district meeting dynamic.
