Jim Thomas, PT, PhD, joined the VCU faculty and is well on his way to establishing a new Virtual Reality Research center.  It is very exciting, and we encourage physical therapists to consider applying for the REMS PhD program to get involved!  NIH has invested in the laboratories of Dr. Thomas and Dr. Dusing (pediatrics), which helps with funding for graduate students. Mark Jensen, PhD, a well-known pain researcher is coming from UW, Seattle, to speak as the Robert Lamb Distinguished Lecturer on Tuesday, 9/11/18, 4:30 pm at the Kontos lecture hall, 1217 East Marshall St.  “Hypnosis for Chronic Pain Management”
