Northern District would like to welcome everyone back from the busy holiday season, and we hope everyone is ready to kick off the 2019 New Year! We are extremely excited to welcome our new leadership table additions, Letha Zook, as our new Northern District Director and Jared Ritter, as treasurer. We hope you will make it to a meeting soon to meet them and the rest of the team. We had an amazing Fall 2018 year as we ended our meetings with our fellow friends at Shenandoah University PT department. SU hosted us again for a great learning experience with anatomy lab. Thank you to the SU PT department for letting us come. As CSM is in our backyard this January 2019, we will not have an official meeting in January; however, we have a full lineup for the rest of the year. We will be kicking off our first meeting on February 6th 2019 with Kerri Kramer Webb, MSPT, DPT, and her team at Fast track sports medicine and performance center in Fairfax, VA, as we learn about the “The key to long term success in running injuries." We hope to see you all there! Also a big congratulations to Arturo Avila-Silva, PTA, SPT, who was the winner of the federal advocacy scholarship!
