Given the recent changes to the VPTA annual conference, the decrease in both time and space available to hold PSIG’s annual business meeting, lack of pediatric programming, and to increase flexibility in holding an annual PSIG meeting, the following Bylaws changes were voted on at PSIG Annual Business Meeting:
“PSIG shall hold a business meeting of its officers and members annually in conjunction with the Chapter Annual Business Meeting or within one month (before or after) meeting.”

*Sincere Thank You to Nancy Lynch
Nancy Lynch just completed her term as PSIG secretary. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Nancy for her hard work and commitment in supporting and growing the PSIG to what it is today. Her tireless efforts to increase the PSIG’s visibility has been most valuable! She has done an outstanding job keeping us organized and our membership current. Over the last two years, Nancy’s service has included providing chapter correspondence to keep members informed of upcoming events such as PSIG Cafés (Webinars), Conferences, and Leadership Retreat. She has kept accurate and detailed meeting minutes and provided them in a timely manner. In addition to serving as the VPTA PSIG Secretary, she has represented VPTA PSIG as the liaison/content expert for pediatrics practice at the annual VPTA Networking event for students and new professionals each fall, for the past 3 years.
Nancy’s positive attitude, willingness to try new things, and devotion to the role will be difficult to match, but she leaves the PSIG a better organization and on strong footing for those who follow you.
It was our pleasure to work alongside Nancy on the Executive PSIG Committee. We thank Nancy for her dedication and the great job she has accomplished in her term as Executive Secretary. We wish Nancy the very best in her future endeavors, especially in her newest adventure of moving to New York City!
*APPT PT and PTA Student Scholarships:
The VPTA PSIG provides a scholarship to (1) PT student and (1) PTA student for a student membership to the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy (APPT).
