The Pediatric SIG has held two very successful PSIG Cafes this year! In February, a very interactive group met for networking and shared their questions, areas of challenge, suggestions for activities of the PSIG, ideas for educational topics, local and statewide issues, national issues, etc. We discussed the new Academy of Pediatric PT documents on Communities of Practice and looked at setting up a community of practice for school-based PTs/PTAs in Virginia.

 

The March Cafe included ‘Aha’ Moments from APPTAC and CSM and a review of the article Evidence-Informed Milestones for Developmental Surveillance Tools discussing the new CDC Developmental Milestones.

 

We look forward to seeing you at PSIG Cafes in 2022, online at 8:00 pm on May 10, September 20, and November 15 (also the annual PSIG meeting) with speakers and topics announced soon!
