VTCA Fall Transportation Construction Conference A Success!

A great lineup of speakers covered many topics impacting your businesses at our Fall Transportation Conference September 8-10 at the Hilton Norfolk The Main. 

Dr. Robert Martinez, former Virginia Secretary of Transportation, opened the conference with a presentation on transportation logistics and its economic impact.   VDOT Commissioner Stephen Brich, PE was joined by Chief Engineer Bart Thrasher, PE and Chief of Operations and Maintenance Kevin Gregg for a briefing on Virginia’s transportation funding, programming, and other updates.  We also heard from some of our other speakers like Rich Juliano of the American Road and Transportation Builders Association, Margaret Lopez of Ogletree Deakins, and VDOT Division Administrator for Civil Rights Sandra Norman. 
 

Trade Show Exhibitor - Pennoni

Our trade show featured a large exhibition space shared by companies showcasing merchandise and services promising to deliver quality transportation construction solutions. The conference was not just sessions and panels.  We also held two receptions that gave attendees a chance to socialize and network in person!
