Transportation Construction Management Institute Returns

Registration is now open for the 2022 TCMI program, marking over three decades of training Virginia’s transportation industry’s emerging leaders.  In 2020 the curriculum was updated, and the length of the program was streamlined to 6 days in response to industry and VDOT recommendations.  The shorter program was successful in delivering a tremendous amount of valuable training and personal development while making it more accessible for those with high workload schedules.   

TCMI Class of 2020

Offered on Virginia Tech’s campus in Blacksburg, TCMI leads participants through a comprehensive developmental program tailored for individuals on a leadership track in the industry.  Participants in the program come from private industry construction and engineering companies as well as VDOT staff from across the state.  The diversity represented by the participants provides an unprecedented opportunity for participants to gain greater understanding of their ability to solve problems and effectively communicate the solutions.
