This year’s Aggregate Producer Safety Seminars will offer a wide range of important safety topics. Along with presentations from industry and health care professionals, MSHA and the Virginia Department of Energy – Mineral Mining Program will provide updates as to what’s new with the Regulatory Agencies.  We will also discuss the numerous safety resources Mineral Mining and NSSGA offer.  Additional areas of focus will include powered haulage and how to prepare for the respirable crystalline silica rule. These, and other topics are of critical importance to mining operators as well as contractors that perform work on MSHA and/or Virginia Energy regulated sites.  The information you receive will be beneficial in protecting your personnel, avoiding penalty assessments, and ensuring the continued and safe operation of your facilities.

Additionally, there will be an afternoon panel discussion hosted by MSHA, Virginia Energy and guest speakers designed to discuss and answer questions related to regulatory and inspection matters.
