Jameo Pollock Appointed New VDOT Assistant Division Administrator for HR-Workforce Development

Jameo (JAY-me-oh) Pollock has been appointed the Statewide Technical Training Manager for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) in the HR-Workforce Development Division. He provides leadership and oversight for all apprenticeships, licenses and certifications, technical training, the Maintenance Training Academy, and the Materials Certification School. Jameo is also an appointee to the Governor’s Apprenticeship Advisory Council. He is a retired combat veteran of the US Army’s 18th Airborne Corp. He holds a BBA in Management and Finance, a Master’s degree in Adult Education and Curriculum Development, and a Doctorate of Education in Global Training and Development.
VTCA works with Dr. Pollock on a number of workforce development initiatives and he was a panel speaker during the VTCA Consultant Forum. Congratulations Jameo!
