VTCA Conducts Work-Based Learning Information Meeting

On January 10, VTCA staff and members conducted a meeting in Roanoke with representatives from local High Schools, DOLI Registered Apprenticeships, and Community Colleges. The purpose of the meeting was for members to learn about work-based learning programs in how they work and to see if work-based learning at the high school level is an opportunity for workforce development for their organizations.

The meeting was a success and members took away ideas of how they can connect with local schools to promote the development of the next generation of talent.

VTCA will soon be scheduling additional meetings in other regions of the Commonwealth. If your organization would like to be included in these future events, please contact Rob Lanham or Kayla Singleton.
