The Center for Aggregate Research, Geochemistry, and Technology (AggReGaTe) is being planned as a Phase I submission to the National Science Foundation (NSF) Industry-University Cooperative Research Center (IUCRC) program. Alexander Brand at Virginia Tech and Erol Tutumluer at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are leading this effort. This webinar and Q&A session will provide an overview of the IUCRC program, what the Center for AggReGaTe would focus on, the benefit of the Center to industry and government agencies, and how industry and other institutions can become involved. The Center is planned as a national hub for research into problems facing the aggregate industry. Additional information about the Center can be found at https://aggregate.cee.vt.edu/.
