This year’s Aggregate Producer Safety Seminar will offer a wide range of important safety topics, along with presentations from industry and safety professionals. MSHA and the Virginia Department of Energy – Mineral Mining Program will provide updates on what’s new with the Regulatory Agencies. We will also discuss the numerous safety resources Mineral Mining offers. Further areas of focus will include panel discussions on Powered Haulage & Machinery, Contractor Training, and Outside Hauler Safety. Additional topics will be electrical safety and proper procedures for lifting & rigging suspended loads. These and other topics are of critical importance to mining operators and contractors that perform work on MSHA or Virginia Energy regulated sites.?
