It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of Murphy Tuomey, a true titan in our industry.  Murphy's retirement is effective June 30, 2024.

Murphy has been an inspirational leader, visionary, and mentor to many of us throughout her illustrious career at AMT spanning thirty-three years leaving an indelible mark on the entire industry.

As Murphy embarks on this new chapter of her life, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for her unwavering dedication, passion, and commitment. Her impact on our organization and the industry at large is immeasurable, and she will be greatly missed.

In recognition of Murphy's exceptional vision, dedication, and service to AMT, she has requested that instead of a traditional retirement celebration, the company contribute to the Murphy Tuomey/AMT Scholarship fund, facilitated through the Washington DC Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) where she is recognized as a Fellow since 2005. Established in 2010, this scholarship supports architectural and civil engineering students in their pursuit of higher education. If colleagues and industry friends would like to contribute to this impactful program, please do so at SAME Washington DC Post (stripe.com) and specify funds are to be allocated to the “Murphy Tuomey/AMT Academic Scholarship.”

Please join us in celebrating Murphy's remarkable career and wishing her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.
