JMT Hires New Virginia Beach Office Leader

Jeff Cutright will be taking on the role of Virginia Beach office leader at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. With over 40 years of experience in transportation engineering, Jeff is a seasoned professional engineer specializing in program and project management, design and design oversight.

Jeff has a civil engineering degree from Old Dominion University. His career highlights include serving as the director of municipal and highway engineering at another firm and as the assistant state location and design engineer at the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), where he was instrumental in creating and updating policies, procedures and project management tools for statewide use.

Jeff has been pivotal in the design and oversight of significant urban and rural projects across all nine VDOT construction districts and has managed large multidiscipline projects. His commitment to excellence and leadership in managing complex projects have earned him widespread respect in the industry.

Our Virginia Beach office, home to over 65 employee-owners, is poised for continued growth and success under Jeff's leadership. Known for its strong track record of community contributions and dedication to JMT's values, the office is set to thrive. With Jeff at the helm, we eagerly anticipate expanding our service offerings and upholding our tradition of excellence.
