VDOT’s Materials Division has published significant changes to MD 464-24, which provides guidance for the design of rock slopes, cuts, and remediation of rockfall hazards. The memorandum outlining the new Section 305 language, with changes shown, is available for review at MD 464-24.
Materials Division Memorandum MD 470-24 outlines changes to Section 114 of the Materials Division’s Manual of Instructions that address NICET Materials testing certifications acceptance requirements. The memorandum is available at MD 470-24.
