In Memoriam: Jim Murin

Jim Murin has passed away peacefully after his courageous battle with cancer.

After 15 years as a road surveying crew chief, Jim spent over 30 years working for construction company L.S. Lee, Inc. in Richmond, and retired as vice president of the firm.

After retiring, he joined a group of DuPont retirees to golf several days a week. Jim moved to The Groves in New Kent a few years ago, finding another group of friends, where he continued to enjoy golf and socializing with neighbors.

Jim is survived by his brothers, Leonard (wife Robin) of Kulpmont, Pa. and Francis (wife Maryann) of Bloomsburg, Pa.; son, James R. Murin Jr., his wife, Sonya and their daughter, Julia of Oviedo, Fla.; daughter, Candice Belfield, her husband, Alvin and son, Nicholas Williams of Mattaponi, Va.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
