VDOT has announced changes to escalation rates for professional service contracts beginning July 1. VDOT is raising the escalation rate and suspending the escalation rate range limitation established in the procurement manual for professional services. The new rate for FY2023 will be 4.2% based on the U.S. Bureau of Labor Employment Cost Index. FY 2022 procurements in process will be revised from 1% to 3.5%.
