This year’s Aggregate Producer Safety Seminars will offer a wide range of important safety topics. Along with presentations from industry and health care professionals, MSHA and the Virginia Department of Energy – Mineral Mining Program will provide updates as to what’s new with the Regulatory Agencies. We will also discuss the numerous safety resources Mineral Mining and NSSGA offer. Further areas of focus will include panel discussions on work process planning, inter-mine communications and how to deal with multiple languages. Additional topics will include the latest in fall protection, drilling & blasting, contractor training and miners rights. These and other topics are of critical importance to mining operators as well as contractors that perform work on MSHA and/or Virginia Energy regulated sites. The information you receive will be beneficial in protecting your personnel, avoiding penalty assessments, and ensuring the continued and safe operation of your facilities.
Early Registration Ends November 11, 2022. VTCA is offering two seminars: Roanoke and Fredericksburg.
