Northern Virginia District Dialogue Sells Out Again

	Northern Virginia District giving an update on the projects underway and in the future.

With over 200 attendees at the NOVA District Dialogue, VTCA considered this event an incredible win for the industry!  John Lynch, Monica Bhatia, Bill Cutler, and the entire Northern Virginia district team presented great insights into the 2023 year and key objectives.  We can’t thank VDOT enough for the partnerships and milestones achieved this year despite all the challenges.

Paving schedules appear to be on schedule and like in every district we are always looking to finish it all by November 15.

Archer Western gave a thorough look at challenges and opportunities on the Jones Branch Road Connector project.

New this year was a recent survey from the Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance which demonstrates Northern Virginia residents really do want infrastructure improvements.  

The next District Dialogue is set for Hampton Roads on November 30.  We will discuss changes to Virginia’s “Pay if Paid” legislation and what you need in your contracts.
